DOREY, Mary Jean - 64, West Arichat, passed away on November 25, 2008 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in West Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Dorothy (Marchand) LeBlanc. She is survived by her companion Tony Forgeron, West Arichat; daughters, Karen Daisley (Edward), Evanston, Connie Dorey (Clarence MacRae), Lower River; Gail Samway (Rick), Hammonds Plains; son, Junior (Nancy), Eastern Passage; sisters, Yvonne Samson (John), Jeannine Boudreau (Anthony) both of Port Royal; Helen Samson (Venard) Petit De Grat; brothers, Ronald (Connie), Port Royal, Sandy (Lillian), West Arichat; brother-in-law, Floyd MacDonald, Janvrin's Island; and nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by her former husband, Francis Leon Dorey; sisters, Anna and Violet. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. Memorial Service will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church in West Arichat Monday morning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat. Memorial Donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch.
