MEUNIER, Mary Eva - 87 , West Arichat, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2009 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston, with her loving family by her side. Born in Cape Auguet, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carita (LeBlanc) Fougere. Eva was a member of the Isle Madame Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 Ladies Auxillary. She is survived by her daughter Juliette DeYoung; sons, Andrew (Joanne), Carol, all of West Arichat; sisters Laura (Art) Fleckney, Bedford, Lena Boudreau Jeffrey, West Arichat, Rose Jeffrey and Stella Paupin both of Louisdale; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by special friendsJune Skinner and Billy Fraser. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Joseph; daughter Shirley Ann; son-in-law Elgin DeYoung; sisters, Florence Sheppard, Rita White; brothers Andrew, Charlie and Norman. Visitation will take place on Thursday evening from 7 - 9pm and on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9pm all in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate the Life of Eva will take place on Saturday morning at 11am in the Immaculate Conception Church in West Arichat with Rev. Dwayne Devereaux officiating. Spring burial will to take place in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
