Obituary of Leta Mary Boudreau

It is with great sadness that the family of Leta Mary Boudreau of Little Anse have to announce her sudden passing on July 14, 2016 at St. Anne Centre in Arichat at the age of 79 years. Born in Little Anse, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (LeBlanc) Samson. Leta was a former employee of Booth Fisheries, Richmond Fisheries and Premium Seafood. She was a member of the Little Anse Social Action Centre; St. Joseph's Catholic Women's League, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150 Isle Madame Ladies Auxiliary and the New Horizon Senior's Club in Arichat. She will be sadly missed by her husband Willard Thomas Boudreau with whom she just celebrated 60 years of marriage on July 10th; daughters, Mandy Samson (Michael), Petit De Grat, Trinia George (David), D'Escousse; son, Robert (Kim), New Minas; grandchildren, Danielle, Renee, McKenzi and Mercedes; sisters, Theodora Samson, Poirierville and Palmire Martell, (John), Little Anse; brother Ovide Samson (Muriel), Alderney Point. Besides her parents, Leta was predeceased by her brother Madore Samson and sister, Leonie Samson. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11am in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Petit De Grat with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Committal will take place in the Acadiaville Columbarium in West Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to St Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat.
