Landry, Joseph Rudolph "Midget"
It is with great sadness and a profound sense of loss that the family of Rudolph Landry, age 80 of Little Anse, announces his sudden passing on October 3, 2016 at St. Anne Centre in Arichat. Born in Petit De Grat, he was the son of the late Joseph Aimé and Mary Alice (Minnie) Landry. Throughout his long life, he was a man of many trades including Deputy Sheriff and a Dog Catcher up until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and picking berries. He always had a story to tell and loved making people laugh. His family was his pride and joy and he would have done anything for them. Rudolph will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Joan, Port Hawkesbury; sons, Douglas (Lorena), Arichat, Kevin (Cindy), Fort MacMurray, and Nolon (Brenda), Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Jason (Jolene), who he helped raise and who was more like a son; Randhall, Mireille, Marielle, Mitchell, Mason, Emily and Ryan; great grandchildren, Vander and Eidaca; sister, Rita Boudreau, (Delyn Lafrance), Woodstock, Ontario; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Joseph, daughter, Margaret-Anne; brother, Cornelius and sisters, Delima and Kathleen. By his wishes, a private service will be held at a later date. We will forever cherish our memories of him and remember the stories he told. Arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home Limited in Arichat. To send words of comfort to the family, please visit www.chboudreau.com
