Obituary of Rose Marie Boudreau

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Rose Marie Boudreau, age 83, of Arichat, on October 12th, at Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow. Born in West Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Stella (Briand) Forgeron. Rose was a very kind, selfless, compassionate person with a strong faith. She worked for many years as a housekeeper at the Glebe House in Arichat. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Rose is survived by her daughters, Elaine (David) Parker, White Hill, Emily Boudreau, Carman, Manitoba; son, Donald, Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Melanie, Jeffrey, Erin, Chandelle, Taylor and Kendra, who were the light of her life; sister, Mildred Babin, West Arichat. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Alexander "Peewee"; sisters, Alice, Evelyn, Mathilda, Gladys, Jean and Priscilla; brothers, Vincent, Ernest, Alfred and Raymond. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Thursday, October 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Rose will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church , Arichat on Friday, October 28th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat. Following the committal, a reception will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall in Arichat.
