Obituary of Mary Ellen Rogers

ROGERS, Mary Ellen, 80, of St. Mary's, passed away at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on March 15, 2009 with her loving family by her side. Born in Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Theophilus and Ellen (Doyle) Kehoe. She will be sadly missed, by her daughters, Alice Power (George), Rocky Bay, Shelley Rogers and her husband Jody Crane, Dartmouth; sons, Richard Doyle , West Arichat, and Charlie Doyle (Karen) Petit De Grat; sisters, Ann England (Sydney), Grand Anse, Dee Keating (William) and Rose Bowen (William) both of Rocky Bay; grandchildren, Cheryl, Todd, Jamie, Blair, Mike, Mindy, Melanie, Jennifer, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Travis, Tyson, Rachael, Cadyn and Caelyn. She was predeceased by her first husband Leonard Doyle and her second husband Raymond Joseph Rogers, sons, Paul Doyle and Gregory Doyle; brother Gerald Kehoe. Visitation will be held today from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Mass of Christian burial to celebrate the life of Mary Ellen will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Church in West Arichat, with Rev. Dwaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery in West Arichat, at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
