Condolences
Cathy and Boudreau family, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of dear Travis. He was an incredible person, who carried so much strength, positivity and courage always. He was never short a smile. I feel very fortunate to have known him for the short time I did. He will be truly missed. Thinking of you at this difficult time.
Deepest Condolences to the Boudreau Family. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Delores Lavandier and Family
Our sincere sympathy to the family and relatives of Travis Boudreau at this sad time. We heard so many great remarks about Travis and regret not knowing him. His cousin, Gerry Landry is our son-in-law and both he and Ann Frances were so sad on learning of his illness and subsequent passing. Sending lots of prayers and sympathy to all of the family. May God bless you all! Sincerely, Kay and Matt
This is not so much a story about Travis, but more of a testimony to his memory. My name is Janis Boudreau Kean, daughter of Narcisse and Evelyn (Pertus) Boudreau. My mother and Travis' grandfather were what is known as known as "double" first cousins, and the 2 families always maintained very close ties. My parents home on Crescent St. in Sydney was sort of a central stopping point for visitors to Sydney from Isle Madame, so from a young age I was introduced to a lot of Boudreau cousins. When I was working at the Sydney ACOA/ECBC office I found out one day that one of the new young "co-op students" coming to the office for a work term was named Travis Boudreau from Isle Madame, and I was anxious to find out if it was the same Travis that I knew of. So I made sure to seek him out the first day he arrived for work and the first question I asked him was if his father was Louis à Cyril. He immediately flashed a big smile and asked me how I knew that and I replied "because I'm your cousin". So during his time in our office we often ate lunch together, and spent a lot of time talking about our families - I don't think a day went by that we didn't have a chat. And that brings me to the main point I want to make. During my years working at ACOA/ECBC there were a lot of students that worked for us, but I can honestly say that in my opinion Travis was the nicest, most polite, well-mannered, conscientious, cooperative, and hard-working student that ever worked in the office. He was always more than willing to take on any challenge, and when he completed a task you could be sure that it was done properly and to the best of his ability. I was very sorry when his term was over, and had absolutely no doubt that he would be an outstanding success in whatever came his way in the future. His parents and family can forever be very proud of Travis - although his life was cut short I'm certain his impact will be felt for many, many years. Rest well Travis.

So sorry to hear about Travis. He always had a smile and was witty funny and kind. I spent a lot of time with him when we went to UCCB and he was always positive and happy and made these around him feel the same way. My condolences to the Boudreau family.
My sincere condolences to the whole family. Travis was always smiling, laughing, offering help and advice. He was genuine and positive, a great guy to have around. He will be deeply missed by the staff at the Parkdale Market, and always in my thoughts. It is rare to befriend someone as giving and generous as he was, and I am very thankful to have met the Boudreau family and experience the same kindness and love. Travis will be missed but will always have a special place in our hearts. Viki
We wish to express to the family of Travis our sorrow on learning today that his life has ended way too soon. We send our love and prayers to you all at this most difficult time. I had the great pleasure to get to know Travis when he did a student placement at the ACOA/ECBC office in Sydney. Almost daily he would reward me with a huge smile when I would greet him by saying "how's my favourite 4th cousin doing today?" He was a wonderful young man and it was not surprising that he became very successful in his career. Were it not for the fact that I am currently on crutches because of a knee injury, my husband Rollie & I would most certainly be attending the funeral Wednesday. But as it is not possible for me to travel right now, please know that we will be thinking of everyone as you bid farewell to dear Travis. Hugs to you all. Janis (Boudreau) and Rollie Kean and family Sydney, NS

On behalf of myself, my family (Jo-Anne, Brianna and Jenna), and the staff and students at the Carleton University ACE Lab, I would like to express our sincere condolences. Travis was a good man with a gentle soul. He was honest and straightforward. He also had a zest for life! Travis was a "let's get it done" person and he never hesitated to help somebody who needed assistance in the lab. Travis was an expert software engineer. His work was top notch and our clients loved him! At the same time, Travis was the person I called when I needed help lifting and moving heavy equipment. Travis's dress code at work was, well, it was his own dress code - he would wear shorts and a t-shirt to the lab except in January. I once offered him a tie and he wore it as a bandana. Travis would wear shorts and t-shirts even when we were showing dignitaries around the lab. Government Ministers and Generals from the Canadian Forces all got the same treatment as everyone else. To be honest, I liked this about Travis. For Travis it was about the quality of the work, not the clothes! Travis will be missed. Travis was a valued colleague and a good friend.
To the Boudreau family, I'd like to send peaceful thoughts to your family from the Mauger's. We're sorry for your loss. Billy

I knew Travis growing up where we went to IME and IMDH together. Although in different grades I remember Travis well as a kind and gentle young fellow who respected everyone! I would also see him in the harbour while we'd both be fishing for mackerel, squid or whatever we could hook on a line. His love for the water/fishing was obvious....even more obvious was the love he had for his family! My condolences to Louis, Yvonne and all of his brother's and sisters! R.I.P. Travis!
Our deepest condolences. Travis will be missed. Our thoughts are with you.
