Obituary of Mary Ruth Boudreau

Boudreau, Mary Ruth 76, of Louisdale, passed away on May 18, 2009 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Louisdale she was the daughter of the late James H. and Margaret "Maggie" (Samson) Landry. She was a member of the St. Louis C.W.L. She and her husband Alex operated several restaurants in the area including the French Village Restaurant in Louisdale, and Port of Call and Papa's Pub in Port Hawkesbury. She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 60 years, Alex Joseph, daughters, Judy Gould (Billy), Phyllis Landry (David), both of Louisdale, Colleen Cegielka (Mark), Claire Lawrence ( Terry ) both of Ontario, Patsy Landry (Lorne) Alberta; Sons, Alvin (Carolyn), Blair (Joanne), Glen (Kim), all of Ontario;25 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren; sister, Doris Steinburg, Alberta, and sister- in- Law, Pauline Landry, Louisdale; brother, Harold (Maria) Ontario; special friend, Loretta Landry, Louisdale. She was predeceased by her brother, Rudolph, and brother- in- law, Noel Steinburg. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Glen Sampson Room, Louisdale. Mass of Christian Burial, to celebrate the life of Ruth, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Louisdale, with Rev. Angus MacDougall, officiating.Burial will follow in the St Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale.
