Obituary of Paul Alcide David

DAVID, Paul Alcide Age 70, of Arichat, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born April 7, 1947 in Arichat, he was a son of the late Dominique and Clarisse (Marchand) David. Paul worked on the Lake Boats and with the Coast Guard. He was also a former employee of Premium Seafoods in Arichat up until his retirement. He loved spending time with his family, nephews and nieces. He also enjoyed sailing. He is survived by his brothers, Kenny (Pauline), Janvrin's Harbour, Claude (Maxine), D'Escousse; sister, Norine Hall, Sydney; nephews, Ricky, Cory, Tyler, Jesse (Godson); nieces, Tiffany, Krista, Ashley and Julie. Besides his parents Paul was predeceased his brother in law, Billy Hall. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday afternoon, October 13, 2017 at 2 pm in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Rev. Antolin Asor officiating. Burial to take place at a later date. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations can be made to the Isle Madame Food Bank or to St Anne Centre Monitor Fund. A reception will be held following the Mass in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall in Arichat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Aricht.
