It is with sadness in my heart that I send my thoughts and prayers your way as we grieve our loss of Chris. I was one f the Strait to Work employment consultants and enjoyed getting to know Chris last year. He was always so fun spirited and so kind to all of us on the STW team. Dear Joanne,Wayne,Anne,Joe and families......words hardly seem to be much but we would like you to know, that we and many more like us are feeling your pain and sharing it with you....there is nothing worst than losing a child especially one at such a young age.....our children are supposed to out-live us aren't they ??? at least that's what we hope will happen....I would like to share a small story of when Chris and our son Robbie first started school together at River Bourgeois...Robbie hated school and it was a crying event everyday for him, me and sometimes the teacher,Mrs. MacCuspic..On one or more occassions when I would be trying to get Rob to stay at school and he would be crying as usual, your son Chris would come over and rub Robbie on the head and say "Don't Cry,Robbie,I'll look after you " and sometimes that was all it took to get Robbie to stay the day...When we heard of Chris's untimely passing that was the first memory that sprung to mind...Chris comforting Robbie on his first days at school.... I very sorry for your loss. I went to Richmond Academy with Chris. He used to come outside in the morning with my other friends and wait for me to get off the bus. He was a very kind man and I will never forget him. God Bless

I met Chris in November,2008 during the Strait to Work Alumni Day at NSCC. Myself and another Human Services first year student helped Raylene & Michelle with the preparations and activities for the day. Chris was very shy and not very talkative at first, however as the day went on he slowly came out of his shell and proved to be the great young man I know today. I was very sadden to hear about his passing. He will be in my heart forever. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Dana
