Marchand, John Joseph, 76 - Petit De Grat, formerly of West Arichat, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2009 at home with his loving daughter Linda and friends by his side. Born in West Arichat he was a son of the late Alexander and Jane Marchand. He is survived by his daughters, Linda Marchand, Sydney, who cared for him, Jody Marchand, Ottawa; son, Derek Marchand (Leanne Cleary), Sydney; grandchildren, Alicia, Derek, Colton and Ireland. He was predeceased by sisters, Mildred, Stella, Jeanette and Dorothy; brother, Eddy. As per John's request there will be no visitation or memorial service. Burial will take place in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat, at a later date.
