SAMSON, MARY DELTA, 78, of Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Louisdale, passed away on October 11, 2006 at her residence in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home, Port Hawkesbury.
Born in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Sr. and Sarah Jane (Samson) Joyce.
She is survived by her daughter Edna (Richard Cotton), Louisdale; grandchildren Robbin (Glenda), Vaughn (Diane), Danielle (Sheldon), Adam (Shauna); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Emily, Victoria, Jacob, Logan and Landon; brothers, Henry, Louisdale, Arthur (Josephine), St. Peter's.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward "Eddie"; sisters, Cecile, Rita, Florence, Anna; brothers, Raymond, Thomas Jr., Andrew, Narcisse, Lawrence, Robert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Saturday morning from 9:30 �" 10:30, at the Glen Sampson Room in Louisdale. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Church, Louisdale, with Father Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will follow in the St Louis Parish Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home's Alzheimer's Unit or to St Louis Cemetery Fund.
