Obituary of Mary Celina McPhee

McPHEE, Mary Celina "Mama" - 84, Louisdale, died peacefully on November 22, 2006, in the Colchester Regional Hospital in Truro with her loving family by her side. Born in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late William and Evangeline (Boudreau) Marchand. Celina was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary Branch 47 St Peter's, and also a member of the St. Louis Parish C.W.L., Louisdale. She is survived by Daughters, Geneva Bates (Clem), Amelia McPhee, both of Louisdale; sons, Bobby (Carol Ann), George (Noreen), both of Louisdale, Roy (Anne Marie) William Point, Antigonish; sisters, Theresa Boudreau (Albenie), Priscilla Samson (Charles) both of Louidale; brothers, Willie (Shirley), Cornelius (Jacqueline), Daniel (Mary), all of Louisdale; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Alphonse Joseph, great-grandchildren Christopher and Joseph; brothers, Lawrence, Anthony, Raymond, Leo; sisters, Irene, Catherine, and Maude. Visitation will be held at her residence at 53 Church Street in Louisdale, on Friday from 2 pm until Saturday morning at 10am. Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate the Life of Celina will take place on Saturday morning at 11a.m., in St. Louis Church, in Louisdale with Rev.Gary MacPherson presiding. Burial will take place in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Louis Parish Cemetery Fund, or to the charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H.
