Obituary of Delores Anne Maltby-Boudreau

MALTBY-BOUDREAU, Anne Delores - 48, Pondville, passed away peacefully at home on February 3, 2007, comforted by the company of her loving family and close friends. Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late George and Lucille (Martell) Maltby. Delores will most certainly be remembered for her unwaivering devotion to family, friends, faith and community. While Delores loved her friends and community, her greatest love was for her family. Delores' love of her husband and four children had no boundaries, and the pride she felt in their accomplishments was a daily occurrence. Delores was a former employee with the Strait Regional School Board and was the Executive Director of the Strait Area Chamber of Commerce. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; daughter, Leah; sons, Sean, Ryan and Daniel, all at home; brother, Paul (Andrea), Hammond's Plain; sister, Lisa Maltby (Al Sinclair), Whitby, Ont.; stepmother, Marion Maltby, River Bourgeois. She was predeceased by brother, Chris. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m., Monday from 2-9 p.m., and also on Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m., in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Delores will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, with Rev. Gary MacPherson officiating. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to Dennis and the children or to the Island and Baraco Girls Breast Cancer Team.
