Obituary of Marie Edda Meunier

MEUNIER, Marie Edda "Ida"�" 87, West Arichat, passed away peacefully at the Richmond Villa, ST. Peter's on April 2, 2007, surrounded by her family and friends.Born in West Arichat, on September 11, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (Covin) Meunier. Ida was a favorite at the Richmond Villa. Her collection of dolls was admired by many. She enjoyed parties, people, shopping, outings, family and chums to the fullest. She will always be remembered for her ability to make others feel appreciated. She is survived by her brother, Arthur Meunier, and special neice Linda Forgeron (Elmer) both of West Arichat, along with several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family and friends at the Richmond Villa and Strait Area Palliative Care. She was predeceased by sisters, Blanche (Raymond) Forgeron, Hattie (Bernard) Marchand, and several siblings There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Richmond Villa Chapel, ST Peter's. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat. Memorial donations in memory of Ida can be made to the Richmond Villa Activity Fund or to the charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral home in Arichat.
