Obituary of Stella Agnes LeBlanc

LeBlanc, Stella Agnes -92, Arichat, passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, in Sydney on April 23, 2007. Born in Providence, Rhode Island she was the daughter of the late James Lorenzo and Lillian (McDonald) Cordeau. Stella along with her husband Ulysses owned and operated U.J. LeBlanc Limited General and Hardware Store in Arichat for 60 years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her son Guy (Marilyn), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Rick, Randy (Lori), Chris and Nikki; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Joshua, Landon and Bronson. She was predeceased by her husband Ulysses Jeffrey LeBlanc; sisters, Mamie Daglieri, Winifred Bastow, Dorothy Slinery, Lillian "Eleanor" McGurn; brother George Cordeau. A Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate the life of Stella will be held Friday, April; 27, 2007 at 2:00pm in Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Arichat, with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating, burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to St Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. On line condolences can be sent to the family at www.chboudreau.com
