Boudreau, George Walter - 85, River Bourgeois, passed away suddenly at his residence in River Bourgeois on July 1, 2007. Born in Petit De Grat, he was the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Rose (Samson) Boudreau. George was the former cook at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston and also for the Richmond Villa in St. Peter's. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Catherine Rita (Burke) Boudreau; daughters, Colleen (Gregory) Sampson, Grand Greve, Claire (Pat) Mines, Yvette Forbes, companion Wiley, both of Lower Sackville; son Robert, St. Peter's; sister Isabelle (Arthur) Boudreau, Arichat; ten grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren He was predeceased by sisters: Lorraine Fougere, Mary Boudreau Brothers: Arthur, Abraham, Joseph, Clifford, and Vincent, 5 in infancy. Visitation will be held today 2-9 pm in River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home in River Bourgeois on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate the Life of George will be held in St. John the Baptist Church in River Bourgeois on Wednesday morning at 11 am with Rev Everett MacDow officiating. Burial to take place, in St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, in River Bourgeois, at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to: Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. On line condolences can be sent to the family at www.chboudreau.com
