Obituary of Arthur Joseph Landry

Landry, Arthur Joseph, 63 - Louisdale, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2009 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston with family and friends by his side after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Louisdale he was a son of the late Ernest and Mary Stella (Marchand) Landry. He was a retired Carry lift operator with the former Stora Forest Industries, Point Tupper He is survived by his daughter: Nicole MacLennan, Dartmouth sons: Julian, British Columbia, and Luke, Moncton New Brunswick 8 grandchildren, Sister: Barbara Ann Sampson, Brothers: Jimmy and Conrad (companion Marlene MacPhee) all of Louisdale, special friend: Shirley Savoury D'Escousse He was predeceased by his son Jacques Christopher brothers: Rudolph Ernest "Silver Fox", Ernest "Togie", Edward "Ned", and Neri Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9p.m. in the Glen Sampson Room, Louisdale A Memorial Service will held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Louis Church, Louisdale, with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating . Burial will follow in the St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care, or charity of choice.
