Condolences
By way of introduction my name is Dave Kent. I was a member of "M" 65/66 Troop. Barry was a brother troop mate. It was a pleasure to have known him for that brief time. My sincere condolences to Barry's entire family.
Linda and family. We are left to mourn, but the kownledge that Barry has been released into the Lord's care is a blessing. The Peace of Christ be with you all. Kindest regards, MERLE & LOYDE MUTCH
Hi Linda and Family was so sorry to hear from Sharon J that Barry had passed away. I know he has had a long fight but it is still a wrench to the heart to have him gone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope you are looking after yourself at this very difficult time. Helen Thomson regularly asks after Barry . I will let her know about his passing. She will be very sad as she often shares stories of Barry looking up recipes for her on the net that she had seen on TV and what a grand fellow he was to her. Take care Cindy
Linda - Nicole - Brent and families - It was with great sadness that we read of the passing of Barry. As you no doubt will recall Linda, we were stationed in Port Hawkesbury together many years ago and as we aged, we all went our separate ways, only to remember our younger years. I have many fond memories of working with Barry in Port Hawkesbury. We were a small close unit with Wayne Bishop - Eric Calder - Wilf Arsenalult - Guy Arsenalult - Bud Abel - Ralph Johnson- Jim Lindsey - Bill Elliott to name a few. Barry was always with a smile, always there to help - well respected by everyone. I regret being unable to attend his celebration of life, however, it was not possible. To you Linda - and your family - our deepest sympathy and prayers. Terry & Paula Ryan

Dear Linda and Family: We are deeply saddened upon learning of Barry's passing following his very brave and courageous battle with Cancer. We have many fond memories of happy times with Barry at hockey tournaments and many other activities he was involved in and enjoyed so much. Barry was a good person whose life was well lived and he will be sadly missed by so many friends who also share a portion of your great loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are for your family at this very difficult time. Sincerely Fred & Laura
It is with great sadness that we learned of Barry's passing. We first met Barry & Linda when we were posted to Cape Breton in 1971 and I was posted on a shift with Barry. He became a very good friend and we played hockey together until we moved out West and later Barry and Linda also came West. Barry and I again played hockey & ball together. He was a great person who would do anything for anyone and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. I really enjoyed our hockey trips to western Canada and all the fun and good times we had. He has now gone to a better place and will no doubt look down on all of us.
Linda --- I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you at this time. Lynne
We were extremely saddened to read of Barry's recent passing. Linda, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you, Brent and Nikki work through this most difficult time. I know you are a very strong person and have peace knowing Barry is suffering no more. Sincere sympathy, Terrie & Richard
Our deepest condolences to you all. I always respected and looked up the the RCMP member of the family. The zest for life and that warm smile he exhibited is a shining example to all of us. Our prayers are with him, and with you. Michel. Heather, and Jack
I was saddened to learn today in the Winnipeg Free Press about Barry's passing. For many years I enjoyed playing slo-pitch against him when he was with the Nieman Knights and hockey when he played for the Red River Wings. In latter years he and I played together with The Max group at Keith Bodley Arena and since he moved away, his name often would be mentioned in the dressing room. I tried to send a photo taken in 2000 of Barry with that group, but it seemed to be too large. On behalf of all of us who played with and against Barry on the ball diamond and ice, deepest sympathy on your loss.
My deepest condolences, Linda. Barry was a gem. Take care
