BONIN, Raymond Joseph - 84, Poirierville, passed away October 25, 2010 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston, Born in Poirierville, he was the son of the late Edmund and Mary Almeda (Pettipas) Bonin. Raymond was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 47, Grand Anse, and active in the Richmond County Disability Association. He is survived by his wife Shirley Mary (Timmons) ,daughter: June Bonin, Halifax, sons, Edmund, Sask, Russell (Suzanne) Georgia, USA, David, Phillip and Mike (Kim) all of Halifax 13 grandchildren , 7 great grandchildren; brother, James. He was predeceased by sister Dorothy, brothers Phillip and Alfred. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held this evening from 7-9 p.m. in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. A Memorial Service will be held Friday morning at 11:00 am in St. Hyacinth Church, D'Escousse with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial will follow in St. Hyacinth parish cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Hyacinth's Cemetery Fund or to a charity of choice.
