Dear Aunt Stella, Judy, Linda and Terry We are truly honored to have had such a man as this in our lives. Uncle Pic was always giving, truly grateful of our too-few visits and always shed a tear when we left. He took my children fishing, (cleaned them for them), and even managed to pick enough wild berries for a pie that evening while he was at it! Amazing. We will miss him with happy memories. Our hearts and thoughts go out to you and your families during this difficult time. Mark, Lynn, Bailey and Shaw Forgeron
Dear Stella, Judy, Linda, Terry and families, We were saddened to hear of Pic's passing. Pic was a very faith filled man and faithful man. He was dedicated to his Family and his Friends. He was there for my Grandmother Muriel, keeping a watchful eye and a good friend to my Father Roy, always ready to lend a hand. He'll truly be missed. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. God Bless you all Deepest Sympathy, Gerard & Cheryl (Clorey) MacDonell
Dear Stella, Judy, Linda, and Terry, I was saddened to hear of Pic's passing early last Saturday morning. Even though I am not a "true" relative of the family, but a very close friend to Linda, the Pellrine Family have always made me feel very special especially at the family get togethers. I always appreciated that while my mother lived, Pic would always find the time to visit Mom while visiting Linda and David in Brookside. They would have some wonderful conversations together. I am sorry that I can't be with you this weekend, but please accept my deepest sympathy. You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely, Kathy Purcell
Judy and family, Sorry to hear of your father's passing. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during the difficult time. Dana and Corey Hunt
What a dear soul was our Uncle Pic. Always there in his quiet, soft way to make us feel at home after that long trip from Ontario to Cape Breton. If we could, we would thank you for: -Giving us your bed, and probably getting a headache because of it -All of the Atlantic treasures from your perpetual garage sale -you gave away all of your profits. -The late night snacks of lobster when there was none to be had, it was said. -Introducing our children to the best fishing expeditions they will probably ever have. -For the eels -For the jam from Aunt Stella's cupboard, but most especially, -the hugs on arrival and the tears of love when we left. We will miss you.
Judy and Family Sending our condolences during this sad time.We will miss Pic....he would always have a wave and always had time to talk. Sorry I can not make the service on Saturday. Karen & Basil
Stella and family. Don and I will always cherish our memories of our wonderful visit with you and Pic and your family. The corned beef dinner and the apple pie and cheddar cheese (Don and I are still talking about the pie)was fantastic. Pic was such a special, caring man with a twinkle in his eye and love in his heart. We have the yellow dory Pic gave to Don, in our office so we will be reminded of him everyday. Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea, But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark; For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crost the bar. With deep sympathy to the Pellerine family from the Esolens of Rhode Island. Pic was a fine man, a good neighbor, and a dear friend. We will miss him -- Tony, Debbie, Jessica, and Davey
