Bona, Alcid Wilfred "Cid" - 89, Arichat passed away peacefully March 25, 2011 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish. Born in Poirierville, he was the son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Fougere) Bona. He is survived by brothers, Bill (Marlene), Bancroft, Ontario, Clarence (Florence), Sydney, Alexander (Lena), Pondville; sisters, Irene Richard, Arichat, Beatrice (Raymond Peck), Gatineau, Quebec, and Mary Babin, West Arichat; companion, Mary H. "Mildred" Boudreau. He was predeceased by brothers, James, Gustave, and Delore; sister, Dorothy.Many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday morning at 11 am in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial to take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (NS) or to the charity of one's choice. Funeralarrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
