Obituary of Priscilla Dora Marchand

Marchand, Priscilla Dora, 82, of Louisdale passed away peacefully at Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston on April 21, 2011, with her loving family by her side. Born in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth ( Samson) Marchand. She is survived by daughters, Annette Wallace (Bill), Missassauqa, Ont. Elaine Walker (Kenny), Louisdale; sons, Wayne (Sharon), Glenn (Tracey), Don (Gail), all of Louisdale, Dion (Lidia), Oakville, Ont.; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Blanche Sampson (Abraham), Louisdale, Vina Cormier, Montreal; brother, Benjamin Marchand, Louisdale. She was pre-deceased by her husband Felix Alexander; sisters, Freda Marchand, Gladys Hanson, Mildred Nichols, Edith Marchand, Nellie Landry; brothers, Emile, Francis, Clarence, Godfrey, Leonard, Narcisse and 2 children in infancy. Visitation will be held in the Glen Sampson Room in Louisdale on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9P.M. Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Priscilla will be held in St. Louis Church, Louisdale on Monday morning at 11:00 with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale at a later date. Memorial donation can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or to the charity of one's choice.
