Joyce, Mary Josephine, 87, of St. Peter's formerly of Louisdale, passed away peacefully at Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston on April 29, 2011. Born in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Sampson) Jeffrey. She is survived her daughter, Elaine Joyce, Montreal; sons, David, PEI, Wayne (Marilyn), North Sydney; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sisters, Kathleen Venedam, Antigonish, Margaret Messervey, Louisdale; brother, Arthur (Gertie), Halifax, Albert (Emmaline), Louisdale; She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Arthur; sisters, Rita Mary, Beatrice, Mary May; brothers, Joseph, Willard, Norman, Leo and Alfred. Visitation will be held in the Glen Sampson Room in Louisdale on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 9P.M. Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Josephine will be held in St. Louis Church, Louisdale on Monday morning at 11:00 with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. Memorial donation can be made to the St. Louis Rosary Park. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
