Obituary of Joseph Boudreau

Joseph David Boudreau, "Gumboots" 53, Arichat - It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of David on May 9th 2011 at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish, after a courageous battle with cancer, Born in Arichat, he was the son of John Victor and Doloris Nine (Knickle) Boudreau of Arichat. He was a member of the CUPI Local 955, and a former member of the Lawrence Kavanaugh Council 4607, West Arichat. He was a former employee of the Richmond District School Board as a Janitor in Arichat for many years. Besides his parents, he will be missed by his daughter, Amy Boudreau, Arichat; son Daniel (Krissey), Janvrin's Island; grandchildren, Christian Bourque, Spencer and Katie LeBlanc; brother Danny, Halifax sisters, Rhonda Bowen (Junior), Rocky Bay, Roseanne Bowen (Norman), Shediac Cape, NB, Karen Jewers (Jim), Oromocto, NB, Michelle Boudreau (Mike), Arichat; and his companion Sonia Tanith Morris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 11 am in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat, with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
