Sampson, David Gerard - 62, Louisdale, passed away suddenly June 29, 2011 at his home. Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late Adelard and Mary Delta (Burns) Sampson. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Frances (Touesnard) daughters, Kim Joyce (Robert), Halifax and Claudine Sampson (companion Darrell Landry), Louisdale; grandchildren; Kailey Joyce, Halifax, Daniel and Luke Sampson, Riverview, NB; sister Marlene Samson, Louisdale; brothers Tommy (Beatrice) Louisdale, and Leonard (Gail) Halifax; brother-in-law Henry Samson, Louisdale. He was predeceased by his son Darryl Gerard; brothers Tony and Francis; sisters, Bernadette Marie Samson and Alexina Parent; stepfather Clarence Marchand. Visitation will be held in the Glen Sampson Room, in Louisdale on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Monday morning at 11 a.m. in St. Louis Church in Louisdale, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
