Obituary of Mary Magdeline Dora Peters

Peters, Mary Margaret Dora, 87 - Amherstburg Ont, formerly of L'Ardoise. It is with sadden hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Magdeline who passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011 at her residence at the Richmond Terrace Nursing Care in Amherstburg, Ont. Magdeline was a member of the Holy Guardian Angel Parish. She was a kind and loving wife, devoted mother. Her life centered around her children and family. She will be deeply missed especially by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, friends and all her knew her. She found great joy in crocheting, knitting and sewing. Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Thadee and Edith Marie (Bourque) Gaudet. Beloved mother to Raymond (Jeannette), Addison, Ont., Andrew (Joan) Bridgewater, Marcella (Keith), Bridgewater, Dorothy (Joseph), L'Ardoise, Josephine (Frank), Halifax, Lionel (Kathleen), L'Ardoise, Jeannette (Dennis), Newfoundland, Annette (Beverly) Amherstburg, Ont., Doris (Kevin), Eastern Passage, John (Judy), Hubley, Delores (Terry), Eastern Passage; sister to Theresa Liston, Lower L'Ardoise, Mary Lambert, Picton, Ont.; brother Alex Gaudet, Annapolis Valley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; daughter Elizabeth and brother, Joseph; sisters, Beatrice and Delorosa. A gathering to remember Magdeline will be held in the Holy Guardian Angel Community Funeral Parlor in L'Ardoise on Saturday, October 8th form 12 - 1:45,m, Funeral Mass will be held in the Holy Guardian Angel Church, L'Ardoise on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2 pm., officiated by Rev. Lourdusamy Mariadoss. Burial to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, L'Ardoise. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
