Mauger, John Wayne , 68 - Cape LaRonde, passed away October 1, 2001 at home. Born in Yarmouth, he was the son of the late John James Mauger Jr. and Esther Margaret(Olsen). Wayne enjoyed playing bingo, working in his shop doing metal fabrications and dancing. He was a member of the Boiler Makers Union, Local 73. He is survived by his sons, Everett (Kathy), Dutch Settlement, Darrell (Margaret), Milford; brothers, Dennis (Mary), West Arichat, Howard (Bev), Cape LaRonde, Warren, Louisdale and Bill, Vancouver; sisters, Jean Bonin, Cape LaRonde, Margaret Roukens (Mario), Ont., Claire White (Jimmy), L'Ardoise; grandchildren, Keegan, Evan, Liam and Brittany; former wife, Joan (MacDonald) Mauger, Enfield. He was predeceased by his son, Graham. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Wednesday October 5, 2011 from 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning October 6, 2011 at 11am in St. John Anglican Church, Arichat, officiated by Rev. Evelyn Knorr. Burial to follow in St. John Anglican Church Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or to St. John Anglican Church Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
