Condolences
To All of Ben’s Family & Friends. Peter & I want to tell you all how very sorry we are for your loss. Ben became a big part of our family over 40 years ago when he was with my sister Jeanette. When they went their separate ways, Ben always continued to be a great friend to us. We will never forget his kindness, caring, jokings & laughter. We had many good times with him. Ben always held a special place in our heart. In 1975, our baby daughter became very ill. With no second thoughts, Ben drove us to Antigonish in 25 minutes using the old road. Let us say there were angels watching over him driving that day as he would pass cars in blind curves to get to the hospital fast. Ben continued to be a great friend. Every time we spoke on the phone, we always told him we loved him & he would say it in return. For the last 4 or 5 years, Peter & I would visit him at the trailer when we were home on Holliday’s. It was very difficult to see his health deteriorate. Seeing him last summer was the hardest as we could see how bad things had become. Dearest Ben. We will miss you but always love you. Until we meet again, please say hi to Sis as I’m sure you will see her. Rise with the angels & now you are free of pain. Just like Jeanette, your quality of life will be so much better. Maybe our daughter Nadine will also meet you to give you a big hug & thank you for all you did to try to save her life. Love & prayers. xoxo Linda & Peter Acton Ontario
Sending my condolences to Ben's family and friends. He was always so good to my nan and with a heart of gold treated her family as his own. We felt the same of him. From the first time I meet him he treated me like his own Granddaughter and made me feel very loved. His love for my nan was so selfless and included making sure she saw and spent as much time with her family as possible in the years they spent together. Because of him I had more time with my nan in her last year's. For that I am eternally Greatful to Ben! I will miss him dearly. Ben I Hope you and nan are reunited & dancing a beautiful waltz In the sky. Love Della and family

I have many fond memories of him coming to the house ever since I was small when they would come in from the dragger trips & even after they retired. I am sure that he & dad are together again in Heaven. RIP Ben you will be missed.
