Boudreau, Mary Irene – Port Hawkesbury/Petit de Grat

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Irene Boudreau, age 82 of Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Petit de Grat, who passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019 at her residence in the Port Hawkesbury Nusrsing home. Born April 1, 1936, in Petit de Grat, she was the daughter of the late Lida Landry. She enjoyed a good game of cards, bingo, dancing and listening to her favourite French tunes on CITU Radio Richmond. Left to mourn her passing is her sons, Norman Fougere (Judy), Arichat, Georgie Boudreau (Joanne) and Daniel Boudreau, both of Calgary; grandchildren, Jennifer and Nylan Fougere, both of Halifax. Kayla, Kimberly, Kayle and Cody Fougere,  Great grandson, Wyatt Mauger.  Irene was predeceased by her 1st husband Norman Fougere; 2nd husband Clifford Boudreau; son Walter Fougere (Bernice), daughter Pauline Boudreau. Cremation has taken place.  Funeral mass will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their gratitude to the homecare staff for the excellent care our Mom received in the past and to the staff of the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home, for their loving care over the past several years.
