Obituary of Marie Hortense Landry

LANDRY, Marie Hortense 88 of Antigonish formerly of Louisdale, passed away peacefully at her residence at the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home in Antigonish on March 13, 2019, where she resided for the last 13 years.  Born in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Nellie (Marchand) Landry. Marie is survived by her sons Donnie (Sharon), Louisdale and Leslie, Alberta; brothers Clarence (Marie), Narcisse (Eileen), sister Viola and sister-in-law Estelle, all of Louisdale; grandchildren Nadia, Jeremy, Brittany and MacKenzie as well as great grandchildren Tegan, Riley, Harper, Georgia, Blakely and Mason. She was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ned), her companion Ennis Bourque; brother Bennie; sister Amelia and her granddaughter Danielle. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, April 6^th in St. Louis Church, Louisdale at 11am, with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac presiding. Internment will in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale at a later date. A reception will be held following the funeral mass at the Louisdale Fire Hall, Grand Anse. Many thanks to the staff of the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home who showed much love to her during the time she was in your care. You always made her feel at home.
