LEBLANC, James Albert 82 of Arichat

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Albert LeBlanc that occurred on March 24, 2019 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Arichat on September 7, 1936, he was the son of the late Amedee and Theresa (Goyetche) LeBlanc. He is survived by his loving companion Zita Boudreau, West Arichat; step daughters Tina (Rodney) Boudreau, Petit de Grat, Carla Boudreau, West Arichat; step son Michael Boudreau, Lower Sackville; step grandson and favourite little buddy Connor Boudreau; brother Gerald, Port Hawkesbury; sisters Jean Boudreau, Petit de Grat and Pauline Forbes, Halifax. James was predeceased by his wife Gladys Forgeron; sister Catherine Wood; sister-in-law, Shirley LeBlanc; brother Paul; brothers in law Ken Wood, David Forbes and Lionel Boudreau. There will be no visitation per request. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday morning in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat at 11 am with Rev. Michel Exalant presiding. Burial in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat at a later date. A Reception will follow the mass in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne’s Centre in Arichat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
