Obituary of Justin V. J. "Pooze" Sampson
Sampson, Justin Vincent Joseph “Pooze”; 1982-2019
It is with such broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend; at the tender age of 36.
Justin was an avid outdoors man. He was his happiest and at peace when he was out hunting, fishing and biking. His large circle of friends often joined him and the memories of those times will forever remain etched in their hearts.
The apples of his eye, his nieces, Abigail and Brooklyn will dearly miss all of the special times they spent with him. He truly loved them with every ounce of his being.
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. This truly represents the life of Justin. No matter what time of day, however big the job, no matter who it was asking for help; he was always there. His generosity and caring nature was second to none and he was a true example of what it means when we say “If you can be anything in this world; be kind”.
“Pooze” loved his mom, dad and big brother with all his heart. As a family they faced much sorrow and he treasured the times they spent together.
He is survived by his mother (Brenda), father (Albert), his brother Trevor (Courtney) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Vincent and Dorothy Samson and Joe and Annie Sampson. Our family takes solace in knowing that he is reunited with his big brother Ashley and that together they will provide the family with the strength and support they need to get through this very difficult time.
He was a proud member of Local 682 and Local 488 and enjoyed the time he spent with the many co-workers he met over the years.
“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you make them feel”. In honor of Justin’s life, we ask that everyone live their lives making a difference and lending a helping hand to anyone in need.
Our family thanks everyone for their love and support and asks that you continue to pray for our family.
