Obituary of Jenny Agnes George

GEORGE, Jean (Jenny) Agnes – Janvrin’s Island/Puslinch, ON

Our dear mom was called home on June 11, 2019. Born in Janvrin’s Island, she was the daughter of the late Ranald (Rannie) and Lizzie Mae (Nanny Mac) MacDonald.

Mom spend her last two years in Puslinch, Ont, lovingly cared for by her son Calvin and our special angel Judy. “Judy” you have earned your wings.

She will be sadly missed by her five children, Carol Fougere (Freddie), Janvrin’s Island, Graham (Mary), Port Royal, Calvin (Judy), Puslinch, Ont, Ulysse (Vicki), Dartmouth, Laura Lee Trudell (Jay), Innership, Ont.; brother Floyd (Marilyn), Janvrin’s Island; sister-in-law Loretta MacDonald, Enfield. Nan has 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 8  great- great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Na was predeceased by her children’s father Clifford; sisters Dorothy, Hilda; brothers John, Charlie and William; daughter-in-law Trudy; grand daughter Margaret; niece Janice Dorey and dear friend Robert Steele.

Mom loved her bonfires, coffee, smoking, cards, bingo and a good game of scrabble. God bless you mom.

Funeral mass to Celebrate the Life of Jenny, will take place on July 6^th in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat at 11am with Rev. Michel Exalant presiding. Burial will take place at a later date. A reception will be held following the mass in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall in Arichat following the Mass. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
