Obituary of Herman Joseph Martell

MARTELL, Herman Joseph – 82 of Pondville, passed away at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on October 17, 2019, with his daughter Charlene by his side.

Born in Arichat, Herman was the son of the late, Venard and Alma (LeBlanc) Martell.

Herman is survived by his children, Clarence, David, Charlene (Marc), Gregory, Lisa and Monica; sister, Maura (David); brothers, Henry (Lillian), Harold (Dorothy), and Hector; sister in laws Donna and Geraldine;several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son's Cecil and Darren; sister, Marina; brothers Hugh, Hubert; step brother Al (Fosch) Pertus.

Farewell, R.I.P. to our carpenter, baker and music maker, from all your special friends and family. Thanks for sharing your Bluegrass tunes, grace and kindness.

Cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Many thanks to the Strait Richmond Hospital for all their kindness and compassion given to Herman during his stay there.
