Obituary of William Claude Timmons

Timmons, William Claude, Arichat It is with sadness, that we have to announce the passing of William Claude Timmons, of Arichat, formerly of Little Anse, on January 3, 2020 at the Strait Richmond Hospital at the age of 73. Born May 25, 1946 in Cheticamp. Claude was the son of the late William Joseph and Cassie Bella (Fraser) Timmons. Claude was a quiet man. Claude was a great lover of the Highlands and visited every chance he could. Cheticamp was alway like home to him and knew every back road and was a great tour guide. Working in the Cape Breton National Park for several years, he also worked for Irving Oil driving truck until an accident put him on long term disability. He’s always loved having a discussion about Politics. He is survived by his step daughters, Linda Cole (Matt Greencorn), Catherine Warner (Ronnie), Nancy Day (Paul), Beryl Boudreau (Keith) and Michelle Cole (Randy Gillis); step son Robert Cole (Carol); numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sister Doreen LeBlanc. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Sheldon Claude and the love of his life Elizabeth Cole. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th, from 5-9 pm at C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat from where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning January 11th at 11 am with Rev. Conrad Edwards presiding. A private family burial will be held in The Star of the Sea Cemetery in Petit de Grat at a latter date. No flowers please per request of the family.
