Malcolm, Todd Michael 47 of Arichat It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Michael Malcolm of Arichat, that occurred at St. Anne’s Centre in Arichat on March 4th, 2020. Born in Antigonish, he was the son of Judith (Smith) Malcolm and the late Lyman Malcolm. Todd worked as a laborer doing fiber glassing for Samson Enterprises Ltd since 2010 where he formed great friendships with his fellow co-workers and was well respected. Todd enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years, as well as going on camping trips with family and friends. He was known for his blunt, sarcastic comments and his unique vocabulary that only people who knew him well could understand. Todd also had a passion for following hockey games and enjoyed participating in sporting event Prolines. Todd will be remembered for his stubbornness, his admit opinion's but most importantly the love he had for his family, especially his most prized possessions, his children, Ella (Ella Ash) and Bryce (Brycey). Todd, you will always be greatly missed, and we hope that wherever you may be that you have a cold bud in your hand and your old man by your side. Memories of you will never get old and will always be told. Besides his mother Judith Malcolm formally from Whycocomagh and"Papa" Gilles Frigeault, formerly of Fort MacMutrray. Todd is survived by his best friend and companion Shelley Short, Arichat; daughter Ella, Arichat; son Bryce, Arichat; brothers Shawn (Tracy), Trenton, Robbie, Matthew, both of Fort McMurray; sister Kelly Malcolm (Kyle MacDonald), Cleveland; as well as his niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Lyman. Visitation will take place in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd, Arichat on Tuesday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral mass will take place in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat on Wednesday at 11am with Rev. Michel Exalant presiding. Burial will take place at a later date. A reception will follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
