Mom loved playing cards and she had no mercy for her opponents, she also loved to watch her Toronto Blue Jays well except for (pop up Wells) LOL. Mom loved knitting mittens for everyone and we mean everyone, as well she loved making quilts with her daughters, she also loved her flower garden. Mom did a ton of baking especially bread and tea biscuits, we did not need a freezer as they would not last long enough, she also made sure that there was a meal and a cake for her kid’s birthdays as well would always have extras for her kids friends that just happened to be at the house, like all the time. Her life revolved around her family and treated every one the same well except for the baby (Rodney) he got away with everything. She looked forward to the September long weekend ball tournaments that dad started. When we were young and got in trouble (mostly the girls as her boys we Angels. Mom would start yelling out our names and when she got to Chris (hint hint) her teeth would fall out and she would start laughing. Mom also loved Christmas and of course opening her gifts and others that she thought were hers. Mom enjoyed watching the deer and birds outside of her window and she was like super woman not afraid of anything including mice and dogs like the time she caught king on the couch and growled at her when she told him to get off, well let me tell you the broom came out of her holster and poor old king met his match that day.
