Obituary of Mary Alfreda Landry

LANDRY, Mary Alfreda “Freda” - Arichat It is with sadness, that we announce the passing of Mary Alfreda Landry of Arichat, that occurred at her residence in St. Anne Centre, Arichat on June 30, 2020, at the age of 89 years. Born November 26, 1930, in Petit de Grat, she was the daughter of the late Newman and Clemence (Landry) Boudreau. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Claire Samson, Arichat; grandson, Joey (Krista), Arichat; great-grandchildren, Rafe Mury, Emily Samson, Ben Samson and Wyatt Mury; sisters, Stella Theriault, Yvonne Madden, both of Ontario, Jeanne Forgeron, Arichat, brother, Newman. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; granddaughter, Jolene Mury; son in law, Bobby Samson; sisters, Giselle Boudreau, Rita MacDonald; brothers, Thomas, Vincent, Albert and Isadore. Freda will be missed by her family and many friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat on July 6, 2020, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Graveside service will be held in the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Petit de Grat, July 7, 2020, at 11am with Rev. Michel Exalant presiding. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, there will be social distancing or a mask must be worn at all times. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne Centre in Arichat and will not be accepted at the funeral home at this time. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
