I met Michelle only 3 years ago when we were both doing a short term positiion with CMHC; I was lucky to be seated next to her during that time, and we formed a very lovely friendship as a result; she was vibrant, beautiful, and ever so dear. I was always in awe of the amount of food she could put away without gaining any weight. What I admired most about her was how comfortable she was in her own skin, and how she did not make allowances for being anything other than her true self. Not many of us are that brave. I remember visiting Michelle, Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Birnie every summer when I was just a young kid. We had so many fun times in the summer. Will miss her daily posts on facebook and being part of her everyday life. May you rest in peace xoxo
