Condolences
To Lillian and families
My sincere deep condolences on the loss of your dear mother.
Terry, David, Lillian Ann and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I know it has been a long time since I have seen her but my memories of your mom will always remain close to the heart. Whenever our family visited from Toronto during the summers both at the cottage (Mulgrave) and Louisdale she would always welcome us with open arms. Your mom was also very generous and thoughtful and would never hesitate to give you money from her winnings from Bingo or just slip a few dollars here and there. Her laugh and wit were also unforgettable too. It was hard not to laugh when she did... your Mom, Grandma, "Estelle" will be sadly missed......my sincerest condolences to all of you and family...

My sincere condolences to all of you on the passing of your mom, the matriarch of a very loving & devoted family. You were with her through her final difficult journey & showed her the love & compassion that she had modelled for you & so many in her life.
I have fond memories of your mom & dad during my visit to Cape Breton. She was so warm & friendly to my friends & I, sharing the history of Cape Breton, Louisdale & Nova Scotia. No wonder I fell in love with it all on that trip. What an ambassador!
Estelle & all of you are in my thoughts & prayers. Re-united with your dad at last.

We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Estelle. We are comforted to know that her pain & suffering is no more. She is free & able to join her life long partner Bennie.
We know these last months have been very difficult watching someone you love go through so much & being unable to fix it.
We will miss her on our summer visits home.
Estelle had been teasing me for many years. She would tell me how she had taken Peter on a date up the ferry & how they had such a great time. Unbeknownst to me, Peter had gone to her house to visit Bennie. I guess she decided to take him to the ferry to show him the cottage & around. I did not learn until days later when she said she had a wonderful date with my husband & laughed about it. It became a joke with us.
Estelle always treated us like family & it was always great having conversations with her. She was an amazing cook & baker.
Her love for her family was a gift beyond measure. She was a great pillar of the Louisdale community & will be greatly missed.
R.I.P. dear Estelle. To her family, please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Our hearts are home with you.
Sending you all our love.

Lillian Ann, David, Terry & family,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your mom. Your mother was a very kind lady who always had a big heart. She will be missed by many as well as her delicious meat pies !
Thinking of you all at this time .
May she rest in peace !
Donnie and I along with my mother, Stella, are sending you our condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. We were deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Donnie remembers living in Toronto, on the farm with your parents. One morning your mother sent Donnie to the chicken coop to fetch some fresh eggs. He stuffed the eggs in his little pockets and ran back to the house to give her his findings. Well, needless to say the eggs were scrambled!! He never forgot your mother’s laugh and from that time on Donnie was given a basket to collect the eggs. Your mother had a big presence in our community, her legacy will live on in her family. Rest easy in the arms of Jesus, Estell and May your memory be a blessing to those who loved you.
Our deepest Sympathy goes out to Lil, Terry, David, their spouses and her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were very special to her. She is now with the love of her life and resting comfortably. May you all be comforted in knowing that she now at peace.
She had a strong presence in her family and in her community and her legacy will live forever. R I P Estelle
