Condolences
So sorry to hear this news. Peter was always kind and I can still remember the smell of his bread baking in the kitchen at Armcrescent West. Please accept my condolences.

Dear Carolyn, Leslie, Margo, Landon, and families
Larry and I were saddened to hear of your Dad's death. Our remembrances of him are warm and vivid, a kind and gentle man with that twinkle in his eye that matched his ready, easy smile. His obituary is lovely and presents true and real images of him, the compassionate and loving father and grandfather. Always generous of spirit, it is not at all surprising that he maintained his sunny disposition even when ill health brought him from his beloved River home to nursing care in Halifax. RIP Peter, we remember you, your family with the warmest of thoughts.
I was saddened to read of Peter’s passing and have many fond memories of working with Peter in the 1980s. We shared many laughs and Peter was the best boss you could ask for. I don’t believe I ever saw him angry and he was one of the kindest people I ever knew. My sincere condolences to his family!
My deepest sympathies on hearing about the passing of our beloved Engineer Peter, whom I was privileged to work with for many years, we will love and cherish him always. And May God rest his beautiful soul.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Peter’s passing. When I graduated from NS Tech in 1966 and joined the Dept. of Transportation, I got lucky and was assigned to Peter as a junior Resident Engineer. He was a great man to work for and with in the ensuing years ..... a wonderful mentor for a young engineer. My sincere sympathy to his family for your loss.
So sorry to hear about Peter. He was a great man and always had a big smile when we saw him. He will be greatly missed. Sending our prayers for Peter and your family. Mike and Cathy Boyd
Very sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was always a pleasant, easy-going neighbour, with a wonderful Cape Breton lilt in his voice! Our sincere sympathy to the family, Barbara Jones and Richard Gordon

Condolences to the family. Peter was a wonderful man who told many interesting stories about old times in The River. I met Peter just before he moved to Halifax when I did a small amount of home care for him, always left his home with a good story and a smile! RIP Peter.
