Obituary of Donald Donnie James Boddy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald “Donnie” James Boddy, Port Hawkesbury which occurred suddenly at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish on October 12, 2021. Born November 13, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario, he was the son of Ann Marie (Kehoe) and the late Donald Boddy. Donnie was a longtime employee of Sobeys in Ontario. He had an infectious laugh & a great sense of humour. He was proud of his Cape Breton roots and visited often before retiring there in 2020. Donnie is survived by his wife, Sue (Lacey), London, Ontario; son, Aaron Boddy;stepdaughter, Erin Lacey and her daughter, Ella; sister, Sandra Boddy (Brad Deekon), and former wife, Joy Waugh, all of Ontario. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Howard and Helen Kehoe of Rocky Bay. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or Funeral Mass.
