BONIN, Alexander Andrew, Pondville South It is with broken hearts, that we, the family of Alex Bonin, have to announce his passing at St Anne Center in Arichat on October 15, 2021, at the age of 91 years. Born June 16, 1930, in Poirierville, he was the son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Fougere) Bonin. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Nelson (Jeff), Montague, P.E.I; Alex Bonin (Cynthia), Truro; grandchildren, Denver and Cale Nelson, Spencer Bonin; his wife, Lena (Marchand); sister, Marie Babin, West Arichat. Besides his parents, Alex was predeceased by siblings, Alcide, Irene, Beatrice, Dorothy, Delore, Clarence, Bill, and Gustave. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or Funeral Mass per request. A Celebration of Alex’s life will take place at a later date. Sincere thanks are extended to the staff of St. Anne’s Center for their care, kindness, and compassion during his stay at their facility.
