I only had the chance to spend a few occasions with you both but definitely felt welcomed anytime at your home. We were all shocked and very saddened when we opened the paper this AM. We know how close you all were to Pat.

He was a special person with lots of personality and lots to contribute to family, friends and community. Just about a week ago I came across pictures of the 50th Anniversary. We were saying we should go and pay a visit. Unfortunately, because of prior commitment we cannot attend the funeral.

We are heartbroken to hear of Mr.Pat’s passing. He was such a special person…always so warm and welcoming to Joe and I, at your family gatherings or whenever we saw him. We always loved to hear him play his guitar and sing. The song, “Leader of the Band”, comes to mind when I think of him. He had such a gift….His most beautiful gift, that he will leave you all, besides his gifts of music and loving memories, is that he was a wonderful husband, father, father in law, and most of all, Grandfather, to all his grandchildren who adored him with all their hearts. It was a privilege and pleasure to have met him.
