It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph David Martell of Pondville, which occurred at his residence in Pondville on February 2, 2022, at the age of 57.
Born February 3, 1964, in Sydney, he was the son of the late Herman Joseph and Viola Mary (Fougere) Martell.
David was a former member of the Industrial Union of Marine Workers and Shipbuilding Workers of Canada, Local No. 1, Halifax, NS.
He is survived by his daughter, Jules Martell, and son, Scott (Jessica) Martell; sister, Charlene Touesnard (Marc); brother, Clarence; companion Linda, and special friend Raylene.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Cecil and Darren.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
