Obituary of Joseph Adolphe Mury

It is with great sadness that, we, the family of Adolphe announce his passing in Inverness at the Inverary Manor on the evening of February 23, 2022, at the age of 82. Born September 9, 1939, in West Arichat, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Margaret and Odérick Mury. He called Petit-de-Grat home for many years, until moving to the Inverary Manor Long Term Care Facility in Inverness in 2020. Adolphe was predeceased by his loving wife, Madelaine, by his sister, Viola, and brothers, George and Michel, as well as a great number of family and friends. He leaves behind in life, among others, three sisters and two brothers, Muriel, Adrienne, Myrtle, Vernie and Antoine. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., Arichat. Cremation has taken place. No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned; any arrangements will be at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Arichat Community Development Association or the Petit-de-Grat Beautification Society. “Au ciel, au ciel, au ciel, j’irai la voir un jour.”
