Obituary of Stephanie Elizabeth Ross

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Stephanie Elizabeth Ross at her father's home on March 29th, 2022. Born at Saint John, N.B. on July 4th, 1994, she was the daughter of Earl Ross and Carolyn (James) Martel. A loving sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, Stephanie is survived by her brothers, Dean Ross and Jody (Kelly) Ross; sister, Denise (Eric) Messenger; nieces Johnelle, Emma, and Erica; great-nieces Blake and Piper; nephews Luca, Jordan, Jailen, and Jordan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her extended family Allyson, Bailey, Arielle, Lisa, Katelyn, Jerrica, and Carl. Stephanie had the most infectious smile that would light up a room and a laugh like no other. She loved her family and friends fiercely. She had an ability to not hold back and say exactly what was on her mind, which often brought a smile to the faces of those around her. She gave her all in everything she did and to everyone, she cared about. She had a bubbly personality and so much confidence. She never gave up hope the world could be a better place. Stephanie had the kindest heart. She was well-loved and will be missed by many. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Frederick and Delta (Landry) Martell; Paternal grandparents Delma and Grace (Buckle) Ross. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday at St. Joseph's Church in Petit de Grat at 11 am with Rev. John DeCoste officiating. The family has requested that mask be worn for the funeral. Burial to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat. Memorial donations can be made to the Grand Manan Addictions Services or to a charity of one's choice.
