Kenny, Dylan, Tara, Bev, Darlene and grandchildren: My heart is broken for all of you. I didn't realize Linda had such little time left when I left my phone message for her. I have such fond memories of spending time with Linda when we were younger and Mom & Dad would cart us off to the country for visits with Nana and Grandpa and our Aunts and Uncles. We were all so lucky to grow up in such a loving family. .
What parties we had at Nana and Grandpa's - the food, the music, the dancing, - us kids watching on the stairs - cigarette smoke rising to the rafters. Table set multiple times - always a tablecloth - we children treated like royalty. Playing ping-pong at Frankie Landry's store - the song "Wipeout" was popular then. When I hear that tune it brings me back. Learning to swim at the cove, digging clams, the clam bakes - Linda was part of it all. I really looked up to you Linda - you had such spirit and a sense of adventure - you were always fun to be with. Your laugh was infectious. We grew up and life took us our separate ways but you always remained in my heart. I cherish the memories. You fought a courageous battle yet still maintained your sense of humor and continue to be an inspiration to me. May you rest in peace.
Nancy
