GOODWIN, Letitia Lynn, 45 of Chapel Island Letitia Lynn Goodwin, born on September 3rd, 1977 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, has passed away on April 12th, 2023, at the age of 44. She was the beloved daughter of Bridget (Battiste) Goodwin and the late William (Bill) Goodwin, and a loving sister to Annette and Billy Goodwin. Letitia was also a devoted mother to her daughters, Raven and Tallyn Goodwin-LéFort; Godfather Vincent “Boi” Battiste. She was predeceased by her brother Neil and Godmother Helen Battiste. Letitia had a passion for crafting, beadwork and was a gifted artist. She had a kind and friendly nature that was infectious to those around her, and her laughter and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew her. Despite her long battle with diabetes, Letitia remained optimistic and continued to live life to the fullest. Letitia's favourite place was where she grew up as a child in Point Michaud, Cape Breton, and she often spoke fondly of her time there. She was also known for her love of western Canada, where she had some of her most enjoyable working experiences. Letitia was affectionately known by her mother, aunts, and uncles as "Granny," a testament to her kind and nurturing nature. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Letitia will always be remembered as a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, whose warm and caring nature will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Visitation will be held in the Blessed Kateri Tekawitha Chapel in Potlotek on April 17th, starting at 2 pm until April 19th at 10 am, Funeral mass will be held at St. Peters Catholic Church, St. Peter’s on Wednesday, April 19th at 11 am with Rev. John Yake officiating. Burial to take place at a later date. A Salité will be held at the Potlotek Community Hall in Potlotek following the Funeral. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., in Arichat Tributes, words of comfort, and memories of Letitia may be shared with the family at www.chboudreau.com
